Huge congratulations to Carly and Michael who were married at the stunning Channels on the Channels Estate in Chelmsford.
They chose to have a cupcake tower. I don’t tend to make cupcakes very often now, unless they are for guests who have a food allergy of some sort so it made a nice change.
They kept things quite simple with a Strawberry & Champagne top cutting cake and a mixture of Red Velvet, Cherry Bakewell, Lemon & Elderflower and Strawberry & Champagne cupcakes, domed with buttercream and fondant icing in a mixture of blush pink and soft ivory, their colour scheme. I also wrapped the cupcakes in vintage lace wrappers. I think it looked really pretty!
